In the 1990s, chef Claudio Pistocchi perfected the recipe for an innovative chocolate cake.
After leaving the kitchens of the great Florentine restaurants it will open its own business and this cake will be one of the leading products of family gastronomy.
In 2005 Claudio decided to leave the shop to devote himself to his great passion: chocolate.
The cake remains the symbol and the name of the family business but over the years it has been joined by 250 other products including chocolates, bars, tablets, dragè but also biscuits and tarts produced without gluten.
All Tortapistocchi products are rigorously gluten free and a few years ago they developed the recipe for a Vegan Ok cake.
The passion is rewarded and from 2014 the awards collected in various events follow each other, reaching international summits with the highest awards from the Internet Chocolate Awards and the Great Taste Awards.
